ゆずを偲んで ― 江戸川のほとりに生きた命 In Memory of Yuzu — A Life by the Edo River

2023年9月23日 午後5時10分から30分のあいだ、ゆずは制限速度を越えて走行した一台のBig・B・バンに巻き込まれ、わずか8歳半の命を閉じました。その現場は痛ましく、姿を判別することさえ困難でした。

けれど、私たちはこの無惨な最期を、ただ悲しみとして留めはしません。
一つの命が奪われた事実が、軽率な運転への小さな警鐘となり、やがては次の命を守る祈りへとつながっていきますように。

Between 5:10 and 5:30 p.m. on September 23, 2023,　Yuzu was struck and caught under the wheels of a Big・ B ・Van that exceeded the speed limit, and his life of only eight and a half years came to an end.The scene was so tragic that his form could scarcely be recognized.

Yet we will not let this cruel ending remain as sorrow alone.
May the fact that one precious life was taken
serve as a quiet warning against reckless driving,and be transformed into a prayer that protects the lives yet to come.

You will never be forgotten, Yuzu.
