天国で再びめぐり逢う ― June吉とエイトの物語 When Brothers Meet Again in Heaven — The Story of June-kichi and Eito

Every fragile life is held warmly in memory, and within light and prayer, we may meet again.

Background Story（背景）

Jun吉とエイト君は、実はきょうだいだと思います。灰色と白の鯖柄のJun吉は心臓発作で、エイト君は2年前の市川市の花火大会の夜に交通事故で命を落としました。二匹の死は、無責任なエサやり、多頭飼育の招いた悲劇です。

I believe June-kichi and Eito were brothers.
June-kichi, a gray-and-white tabby, passed away from a heart attack, while Eito lost his life in a traffic accident on the night of the Ichikawa fireworks festival two years ago.
Their deaths were tragedies born of irresponsible feeding and the collapse of a multi-cat household.

灰白の鯖柄のJune吉は、6月に初めて姿を現したことから、その名がつけられました。

June-kichi, a gray-and-white tabby, was named because he first appeared in June.

黒白八割れ模様のエイトは、その額の模様にちなんで名付けられました。

Eito, with his black-and-white “hachiware” marking on his forehead, was named after the number eight.

天国で再会した二匹。
ようやく安心して遊べるようになりました。

Reunited in heaven,
the two brothers can finally play in peace.

今はもう、痛みも恐れもなく、ただ静かに、寄り添っています。

Now, with no more pain or fear,they simply rest together in quiet peace.

二匹の絆は、永遠に光の中で生き続けます。
